Goals

I’ve lived in this city for 20 years and I care deeply about the future of Sierra Vista. Having worked and raised my family here, I am committed to providing strong leadership for not only the families that live here but also the businesses that create jobs and financial security to our community. I believe that it is my responsibility to give back my time and efforts to help preserve our city future.

Being a Sierra Vista REALTOR is my passion but my goals and beliefs are guided by several key interests: children, families, neighborhoods, and economic development. I believe that we must work to preserve Sierra Vista’s past while focusing on the future. We can balance stability and change while supporting the unique character and history of Sierra Vista.

I am out in the community a lot, if you see me, please stop and say hello, I enjoy meeting and chatting with my friends in the community.

Long Time Resident and Successful Businessman Brad Snyder Enters Race for a Seat on the Sierra Vista City Council.

Brad Snyder has a lot to offer the residents of Sierra Vista. His proven commitment, experience and management in the business community gives him the unique ability to look at decisions made by the city that have unintended consequences on the small business owner.

Brad Snyder served as District Manager and Director of Human Resources for fourteen restaurants in southern Arizona (Famous Sam's) before launching a career in real estate. Brad is a Realtor and Property Manager for Sierra Vista Realty and hosts a weekly real estate radio show on KTAN 1420AM called Open House.

He has been active in the community and serves on the Sierra Vista Planning and Zoning Commission, has coached Little League and Youth Soccer and co-founded the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation that raised money to pay for youth sports scholarships in Cochise County. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce.

Snyder said, “I care deeply about the future of Sierra Vista. Having worked and raised my family here, I am committed to providing strong leadership for not only families but also the businesses that create jobs and financial security to our community. My key interests are children, families, safe neighborhoods and economic development/jobs. We can balance stability, growth and change while supporting the unique character and history of Sierra Vista and Ft. Huachuca.”

Brad’s vision for Sierra Vista includes a welcoming environment for new business, encouraging new and affordable housing options, improving the infrastructure needed to support growth and keeping our tax structure as low as possible. “I will bring the same financial discipline I have practiced in private business to city government. A city is just like a business and our customers are the people... you and me. The government works for you... not the other way around,” stated Snyder.

Brad and his wife Iwona have four children all attending local Sierra Vista Public Schools. Iwona is a nurse and Director of Nursing at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.
